Big news for Flík! We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been awarded the Sproti grant from Tækniþróunarsjóður (The Icelandic Technology Development Fund). This 2-year seed grant will give us the resources to accelerate Flík’s development and bring exciting new features to life for knitters everywhere.

About Flík

The first version of the Flík knitting app is currently in the final stages of beta testing and helps knitters customize and resize patterns and calculate cast-on stitches effortlessly. But thanks to this grant, we’ll be able to move faster on building out some game-changing features, including:

• A color work motif designer, allowing you to create and preview intricate designs.

• Tools to shape color work motifs directly onto different types of garments.

• A web application, so you can enjoy Flík’s tools beyond your iPhone.
